Caring for Employees and Their Families: Fortune Medical Supplies Hosts a Long-Term Care Information Session

To help employees better understand long-term care resources, Fortune Medical Supplies invited a care management specialist from the Department of Public Health to lead an information session. The specialist introduced eligibility criteria, application procedures, and available resources, including home care, transportation, assistive devices, home accessibility modifications, and respite care that allows family caregivers to take a break. The session also covered recognizing signs of dementia and accessing related care and support, helping employees become familiar with resources they can use.
